Business Analysis Process

This portion explains our process in a step-by-step process, for those who wish to find out the details in view of having an Analysis performed in your business place. It depicts the general agenda and allows our clients to realize that this process is well prepared and professionally executed.

How does the Business Analysis work?

A Business Analysis is conducted on-site in your business. The analyst expert comes to meet you and your key personnel on a pre-scheduled visit.

The analysis itself is performed in two days and with utmost respect, professionalism and in all confidentiality. It is executed promptly with an introductory question period and with little or no interruption of you and your staff. The entire process ends with a written report to help you move on to your next step.

It opens access to a 'common-sense no-hassle' process, where your employees are taken very seriously and where their involvement (at some levels), gives them the sense of belonging within the vigorous process in view of positive changes for the company.

Once the analysis completed, Management (CEO, and/or other stakeholders)receives the pertinent information in view of the following benefits:
  • give direction of the company's future
  • give a road map for the changes that are required
  • establish the priorities for implementation (those that contribute to improved business operations
  • yield a much greater profit
  • demonstrate the potential growth, if any

There is nothing like this on the market! Any assessments done by others out there in the consulting world, ALL TAKE DAYS AND WEEKS to execute. As experts in the field, and with the cost awareness we hold for our clients, we conduct the analysis in only TWO days at extremely affordable costs.

Here below are the STEPS for you to review before calling us to book an appointment.

STEP 1
Verify that some of the following statements are true about how you run your organization:

  • There is a budget but it's not necessarily practical or it's not easily followed by others

  • Financial statements in my company are either difficult to obtain on a regular basis, or the are difficult to use as a tool for managing my company

  • There is no pre-planned profit in my business plan

  •  I am unsure of what "Management Accounting" can do in my business

  • Cashflow is always a scramble, and there are no set of cost controls built into everyday management activities

  • Productivity from of my employees is maxed out and accountability or cooperation from them remains a huge challenge, most of the time; they are there for their paycheck.

  • My business goals are defined, but few employees choose to focus their efforts in the company's direction

  • Sales are slow (or down), and my marketing plan does not work

  • Sales are moving and growth is there, but there is no real impact on my bottom line

  • Prioritizing managerial tasks is difficult: everyone has a diffeent point of view as to what those are.

  • As a CEO, I am wearing all the hats and find it difficult to let go as people are difficult to manage to have them do what is required to do

  • The company's "business plan" is a plan for the banker's use; it's not a plan to actually guide my business operations and help my key people make sound decision.

All of the statements affect the bottom line, the very reason for being in business. Does it not make sense to have an expert EXAMINE the business before implementing any new fad or training program?

If you have identified two or more statements that reflect your experience or condition with your business operations, then move on to the next step.

STEP 2

TYPE AND SIZE OF BUSINESS

TYPE: GoCommerceGo.com visits any type of business, ranging from manufacturing facilities, distribution centers, service businesses, retailing, contractors and subcontractors to not-for-profit organizations. In our book, managing a business is a role of its own and it does not matter what the technical concentration of the business looks like.

What matters to us is the willingness and desire of an individual wanting to improve: the entrepreneurial-type individuals who know they can achieve more but realize that they do not necessarily have the 'big picture' of their organization telling them where to start. Many people spend a lot of money and energy attempting to improve their businesses but have little or no results. There is no structured plan for the most part, and there is a tremendous lack of direction. It's a matter of 'running a business by the seat of their pants", or simply chasing their tails.

"The business manages them instead of them managing the business!"

SIZE: When it comes to the size of the business, any organization generating annual sales between $150,000 to $10,000,000 are welcome to place their request for an analysis by our expert. These figures are not cast in stone: exceptions are made with careful evaluation of what is required to perform the analysis and the one-time-fee may vary. Consult our booking and work policy below.

If an analysis makes sense to you as the starting point for improvement in managing your business, then it makes sense to us! You probably have more questions, and that is normal. Move on to the next step for booking or for additional information, as well as to view fee structure and policy of engagement.

Booking a two-day Visit with us
The two-day analysis visit (in your business) has a fixed one-time-fee per business visit. It does not include travel and accommodation expenses for the business analyst. However, minimizing those travel expenses is our goal, as we visit small to medium-size businesses across the North American continent. To find out how our fee structure works (according to business and facility size), call us or e-mail us for more information. A written confirmation follows for protection of information.

Telephone: 1-828-315-0170 at regular business hours. Ask for Diane Eller

POLICY OF ENGAGEMENT

Our policy is simple: booking an analysis is considered a commitment by both parties. We do not consider cancellations except for extreme cases, but rather, we prefer to postpone the analysis visit to a later date.

The invoice for the analysis is submitted at the time of the analysis and prompt payment is expected at the conclusion of the analysis, when the written report is delivered and explained to the satisfaction of the client. This is standard practice. We are serious and want to deal with committed individuals who are serious about changing for the better.

We operate within strategic time frames, where our availability depends on the number of requests received. Booking your analysis ahead of time works best, and all confirmed bookings are honored with little or no delays.

If you are seriously considering booking a visit, please make sure you book two entire business days back to back to allow the entire analysis process to take place. However this does not mean that you, the business manager, is not able to conduct business as usual: we favor normal operational activities during the visit.
